“La Vereda de la Gitana” is the name of the three kilometre path which separates (and at the same time joins) our native villages, Sonseca y Mazarambroz in Toledo. It is said that this path used to be part of one of the old seasonal migration of livestock routes which covered the whole Iberian Peninsula. We have walked along it since we were children, it is dotted with beautiful almond trees and it offers one of the most beautiful sunsets we know of.
